  • When does my Club membership expire?

The expiration date is found in the welcome communication you received at home and may also be found on the website. Or else just do a quick calculation, go back 24 months and check the date of your first stay.

  • Will I still be a member at my next stay?

In order to avail yourself of the privileges, the departure day of your next stay must precede the expiration date on your welcome communication.

  • Must I stay at the hotel at least once every 2 years?

If you do not stay at the hotel once in 2 years, you become a Cardholder or the preceding club, however you still retain the point total you have accumulated.

  • My membership to one of the Clubs expires next month. Can I avail myself of the special discounts to book my next stay?

Of course. As long as you are a member of a Club you can avail yourself of the special exclusive discounts.

  • I booked a discount with the Black Club card, however in the meantime my membership has expired: what type of service will I receive at the hotel?

In this case you will be given the benefits and attentions reserved to Gold Cardholders.

  • Can I go back to being a Black Cardholder?

Certainly! The system keeps track of all your stays. When you are once more part of the Black club you will receive a new welcome communication with a new expiration date.

  • What benefits does a Medusa Rewards cardholder have for a stay booked with the “Best available rate”?

As a Medusa Rewards Cardholder you always have an extra benefit: whatever your departure day you can avail yourself of the 5% Frequent Guest discount. The Frequent Guest discount is valid for the Prenota Subito rate or the one available at the time of booking.

  • How can I get the 5% Frequent Guest discount?

The Medusa Rewards discounts are acknowledged solely when the option or booking has been confirmed, including Personal Identification Number. Bookings may not be modified at a later stage in order to receive a backdated discount.

  • What must I do to get the benefits reserved for me by my Club both at home as well as in my room?

Make sure you include your Cardholder Personal Identification Number when selecting an option or booking a stay.

This condition is mandatory in order to avail yourself of all the benefits reserved for you by Medusa Rewards.

  • How do I accumulate Medusa Rewards points?

New points will be accredited for each new stay and they will be added to your point total. The point tally depends on: - the cost of your stay – the expenses incurred at the hotel for extra services (solely for Medusa Rewards Leisure clients) Consider that you can accumulate:

FOR MEDUSA REWARDS LEISURE CARDHOLDERS
• 5 points for every euro spent during your stay for Entry level and Silver club cardholders;
• 7 points for every euro spent during your stay for Gold club cardholders;
• 10 points for every euro spent during your stay for Black club cardholders;
FOR MEDUSA REWARDS BUSINESS CARDHOLDERS
• 5 points for every euro spent during your stay (extra services not included) for Entry level and Silver club cardholders;
• 7 points for every euro spent during your stay (extra services not included) for Gold club cardholders;
• 10 points for every euro spent during your stay (extra services not included) for Black club cardholders;


Points for expenses paid by the cardholder, but registered on another person’s Medusa Rewards card are not added to the point tally, even if they share the same room.

  • How can I know my point total and which Club I belong to?

- Visit www.lamedusahotel.com and sign in to access the restricted area.

  • How does point accreditation work?

The points will be accredited automatically 10 days after the end of each stay.

  • How are Medusa Reward discounts calculated?

Discounts are applied to the fee of the stay. Cardholders must verify whether discounts for a stay may be combined with other offers. The Medusa Rewards discounts are acknowledged solely when the option or booking has been confirmed, including Personal Identification Number. Bookings may not be modified at a later stage in order to receive a backdated discount. Cardholders may avail themselves of the discounts within the limits of available spaces for each departure.

  • If I believe I’m entitled to more points than those credited, should I inform Medusa Rewards? How do I go about it?

Send the following documents specifying your name, surname, Cardholder Personal Identification Number:

• Copy of the account statement for hotel expenses in case you have not been credited points for purchases at the hotel.
• Data transmission to be made via e-mail at: commerciale@lamedusahotel.com

  • What should I do if I can’t remember my Medusa Rewards cardholder Personal Identification Number and I need to book?

You may write to commerciale@lamedusahotel.com. Remember to include your personal details to facilitate the retrieval of your Medusa Rewards cardholder Personal Identification Number from our database. You will find a Medusa Rewards card in your cabin on your next cruise.

  • What happens if I pass from Club Silver to Club Gold and from Club Gold to Club Black?

You will receive e-mail confirmation of the change and, of course, your Club gift. On the occasion of your next stay you will receive your new Medusa Rewards card in your room.

  • What must I do if my Medusa Rewards has expired?

Club membership is valid for 2 years and renews automatically for 3 more years at every new stay.

  • If I fill in the Medusa Rewards membership form and I’m staying at the hotel for the first time, can I avail myself of the Medusa Rewards privileges? When will I receive the Medusa Card?

If you request membership in the hotel your membership request will be processed in 90 days from the end of your stay and hence will go into effect at the end of the same. You will receive a welcome postcard with your Rewards Personal Identification Number as well as the Club you’re a member of. The card will be delivered straight to your room at your next stay and then you may avail yourself of the Medusa Rewards privileges for the first time.

  • If I fill in the Medusa Rewards membership form and I’ve already stayed at the hotel, can I avail myself of the Medusa Rewards privileges?

If you’ve already stayed at the hotel, your Club membership will go into effect immediately if the stays you booked are present on our database. The executive sales manager will carry out the necessary verifications. You must always specify your Personal Identification Number when selecting an option or booking a stay in order to receive the points and enjoy the benefits reserved for Medusa Rewards Cardholders.
